Under supervision by department leadership, performs CLIA regulated and clinical contract research testing. Interacts with customers, providing a high level of customer service to resolve customer concerns about sample acceptability and results. Supports preparation of laboratory reagents and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment. Supports the training of junior and peer staff members. The Poon Lab investigates the molecular basis of transcription factor–DNA recognition and translates those principles into chemical strategies for modulating genetic programs in hematopoiesis.
