Position Summary

Under the direction of the department leader, this role is to support our account representative team to allow them more time in the field to onboard additional blood drive partners.  This role will support data entry and administrative work as needed to allow for our field team to be in the field.

Responsibilities

Data entry

  • Support with our internal systems (Hemasphere and HemaConnect)

Marketing Support

  • Utilize Versiti tools to create marketing materials for blood drive recruitment (fliers, posters, QR codes)

Microsoft Office (ppt, excel, word) and Adobe

 

Customer Service

  • As needed, contacting blood donors or coordinators

Additional tasks/duties as assigned

 

Flexible schedule, will require some structure (ex. 1:1s meetings, accessible via phone, etc).

 

Complies with all standard operating policies and procedures

Qualifications

Education

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university majoring in communications, marketing, business or a health related discipline. required

Experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required
  • Experience with integrated HRIS/payroll systems required; experience with Ceridian preferred
  • Experience in a health care setting preferred

  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
  • Ability to quickly and accurately understand instructions and then work independently on assignments
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as Standard Operating Procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other department manuals.
  • Detail-oriented to evaluate and ensure accuracy of data
  • Strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional commitment to customer service
