Position Summary

Manager, Brand and Social Account lead is a hands-on content and storytelling role responsible for executing Versiti's public-facing brand presence across social and digital channels, with a particular focus on headquarters-based publicity and visibility in the Greater Milwaukee region. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Media & Public Relations, this role supports and advances Versiti's brand communications strategy through high-quality content creation, social storytelling, and amplification of corporate, community, and public-facing moments. The Manager partners closely with Media & PR leadership and Brand & Communications colleagues to ensure content is aligned, timely, and reflective of Versiti's voice and values. The Manager brings five+ years of experience and a demonstrated ability to independently execute content and social storytelling at a high level, while operating within established brand, communications, and publicity direction.

Responsibilities

  • Social Storytelling & Content Execution > Execute day-to-day public-facing storytelling for Versiti’s corporate social accounts and enterprise blood collections social content, under the direction of Media & Public Relations > Personally create high-quality, platform-native content, including: o Short-form video and reels o Stories and behind-the-scenes content o Static and light motion graphics (Canva or similar tools) o Copy and captions aligned to Versiti’s brand voice and messaging > Translate approved messaging, initiatives, and moments into engaging social and digital content > Apply platform trends and best practices thoughtfully while maintaining brand integrity > Track and report on content performance to inform ongoing improvements
  • Milwaukee Headquarters Publicity and Community Visibility > Support headquarters-based publicity and visibility efforts in the Greater Milwaukee region, in coordination with the Senior Manager, Media and Public Relations. > Amplify corporate events, community partnerships, and public-facing initiatives through social and digital channels. > Capture real-time content at events and in the community to support awareness and engagement. > Serve as an on-site content resource to help ensure Versiti's public moments are well documented and shared.
  • Social Channel Management and Brand Stewardship > Manage Versiti's primary corporate social accounts and enterprise blood collections social content, ensuring consistency in voice, tone, and visual standards. > Implement content calendars and publishing plans aligned with broader communication priorities. > Coordinate with Digital Marketing, Brand, and Public Relations colleagues to ensure alignment across channels and campaigns.
  • Coaching and Enablement > Serve as content and social storytelling resource for state and service line teams. > Share best practices, templates, and guidance to help elevate storytelling quality across the organization. > Model effective content creation and platform use through hands-on execution.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field required

Experience

  • 4-6 years Professional experience in content creation, social media management, publicity support, or brand communications. required
  • 1-3 years Demonstrated experience managing brand or organizational social accounts end-to-end. preferred
  • 1-3 years Demonstrated experience providing a portfolio of work showcasing content creation, storytelling, and social execution. preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong hands-on skills in: > Short form video capture and editing > Graphic design using tools such as Canva > Mobile-first, real-time content creation required
  • Thorough understanding of leading social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and more required
  • Competent in copywriting and copyediting to create compelling and clear social media content required
  • Adept at capturing and editing images and video to produce high-quality social media content required
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with diverse audiences and team members required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of work required
  • Strong editorial judgement and ability to execute independently within established strategy required
