Under the direction of the Director, Project Management Office (PMO) and in partnership with Versiti leadership, the Project Management Associate plans, coordinates and oversees assigned Versiti projects in accordance with established Versiti project standards and best practices. The Project Management Associate defines project objectives, tasks, and timelines, develops and updates the project plan / Gantt chart, manages and reports project progress (scope, schedule, budget, resources), and coordinates the efforts of team members to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Management Associate will partner with the project Executive Sponsor, Champion, Steering Committee, and project team members to develop and approve the Project Charter, establishing agreement on the overall objectives, scope, approach, timing, resources, and project budget. They will also partner with PMO project managers (PMs) to develop Versiti project processes and templates, use Continuous Improvement (CI) training to help improve PMO and Versiti processes, and assist with basic project management training for new PMs.
