Position Summary

The Promotional Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in executing and managing hub-level promotions, ensuring seamless coordination of creative assets, sourcing, and fulfillment. This role also maintains awareness of local promotions to ensure alignment and streamlined communication. Additionally, the Specialist oversees the fulfillment of e-gift card incentives and loyalty program assets, supporting donor engagement and retention efforts.

The target salary for this position is $21.60 per hour.

The target salary is based on internal averages. Versiti sets salary ranges aligned to local markets in which the job is performed. Compensation decisions take into account internal salary averages and differentiation based on education, experience, skills, and performance. Specific salary and benefits information is shared at the time of the phone screening based on your location and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Assists manager with planning and implementation of hub & spoke level promotions and programs within Blood Services, ensuring smooth execution from creative development to sourcing and fulfillment and all steps in between
  • Orchestrates the fulfillment process for e-gift card incentives, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to recipients and aligned reporting across the organization
  • Executes standing loyalty program pillars – Beacon Club Newsletter, social media campaigns, etc. – in support of increasing donation frequency and retention among priority donor audiences
  • Oversees fulfillment of Versiti’s loyalty program through managing planning and distribution of loyalty rewards and materials
  • Curates Thank the Donor platform across all Versiti states to elevate vein to vein connection between our donors and patients
  • Manages the annual promotional calendar, ensuring deadlines and fulfillment needs are met for all hub-level tasks; while also supporting spoke-led efforts as needed
  • Rectifies donor issues in DonorCare related to egift cards (and potentially promotions) and use trending data to mitigate future complaints
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification
  • Understands and performs in accordance with all applicable regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Complies with all standard operating policies and procedures

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Public Health Administration, or a related field required

Experience

  • 1-3 years years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred
  • 1-3 years years of experience working in nonprofit, healthcare, or mission-driven organizations preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools required
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines required
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders required
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately required
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of diverse, cross-functional teams required
  • Critical thinking and proactive problem solving required
